Custom Design Projects:
Full payment is required to secure a custom design project and reserve space in the designer’s schedule unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Due to the custom nature of the services provided, all payments are subject to the terms outlined below.
If a refund is requested before any project work has begun, the client may be eligible for a partial refund minus a 25% administrative and scheduling fee. This fee is non-refundable and compensates for time reserved, project planning, preparation, and opportunity cost. No refunds will be issued once project work has commenced.
In limited cases, a retainer may be accepted at the designer’s discretion to secure a project slot. Any retainer paid is non-refundable and may be up to 50% of the total project cost. Retainers are applied toward the total balance unless otherwise stated in writing. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 business days prior to the project start, or the project may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled at the designer’s discretion without refund of the retainer.
If a project is canceled by the client after work has begun, or if the client fails to provide required materials, communication, or payment within the agreed timeframe, all payments made remain non-refundable.
Client satisfaction is important. Any concerns must be communicated promptly so they can be addressed within the scope of the project and included revision rounds. Refunds will not be issued based on subjective preferences, changes in business direction, third-party disputes, or a change of mind.
